Privacy Policy

Here, you can find out how we Lily Charmed Ltd safeguard your information and how we use it to improve our products and services for the benefit of all our customers and website users.

(This Privacy Notice was updated on 13/12/24)

This Privacy Notice is designed to help you understand how we collect and use your personal information. We want you to make informed decisions when using our website and any features on them, including any registration and e-commerce services.

This Privacy Notice applies to all the pages on our site linking to this Privacy Notice and any features of them including any e-commerce services we offer. However, it won’t apply to any third-party sites which are linked to our sites. We recommend that you read the privacy notice of any such sites that you visit as we are not responsible for them.

The nature of our business means that, from time to time, we’ll require some personal details from our customers and website users.

The personal information we collect could just be a name and an email address, but if you place an order for one of our products we will also need your address, phone number and billing information.

The personal information you’ve shared with us, along with data on how you use our website - what you search for - help us to better understand our customers as a group and as individuals. This in turn helps us to provide a range of products and services that meet your needs.

How we protect your data

When you share your personal information with us, you have a right to expect that information will be treated with confidentiality and securely.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. We’re committed to protecting any personal information you’ve given us, and we comply with all relevant data protection laws.

This means that:

  • We take full responsibility for the personal information we hold about you
  • We will protect the personal information you provide to us at all times
  • We will never sell your personal information

Whether you’ve supplied your personal details online, by phone or text, by email or in a letter, we will never use them without a lawful reason to do so. We’ll use them for the purposes for which they were initially requested and as fully explained in this Privacy Notice.

The Information we collect

Your Personal Data

We will process all personal information you have provided to us for the purpose for which it is provided to us. Where you make a purchase on our website we will process your personal data in order to carry out what is then our contractual obligation to you. Further, should we need to contact you to update you on the progress of an order or its dispatch we will use your contact details for this purpose.

If you have opted in to receive email communications from us, you can opt out at any time by clicking the button at the bottom of every email we send. Our mailing lists are managed by mailchimp.

We do not store any financial data but instead collect and use only for payment of the order at that time.

In a separate automatic operation, the web server will collect your IP address and browser type and details of the website, application or email communication you came from before entering our site. This information is used to:

  • work out how many times our site has been visited
  • record which parts of our site have been visited so we can improve the content and layout of the site
  • understand the effectiveness of our email communications.

We may from time to time supply this data to third parties in an anonymised form for use in connection with our site.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website.

We use certain cookies, as described here in our Privacy Policy, that you agree to when you use our sites and, in the case of some cookies, for legitimate interests of delivering and optimizing our services (where the cookie delivers essential functionality). Cookies are small bits of data we store on the device you use to access our website so we can recognize repeat users. Each cookie expires after a certain period of time, depending on what we use it for. We use cookies and similar technologies for several reasons:

  • To improve our services.
We use cookies to measure your use of our website and track referral data (for example when you are redirected to our site from another website), as well as to occasionally display different versions of content to you. This information helps us to develop and improve our services (it helps us focus on the parts of the service you seem most interested in) and optimise the content we display to you (which may include marketing content).
  • To advertise to you.
We, or our service providers and other third parties we work with, place cookies when you visit our website and other websites or when you open emails that we send you, in order to provide you with more tailored marketing content about our products and service, and to evaluate whether this content is useful or effective. If you don’t want to receive ads that are tailored to you based on your online activity, you may “opt out” of many of the companies that are involved in such tailoring by visiting https://www.youronlinechoices.eu. Opting out in this way does not mean you will not receive any ads; it just means that you will not receive ads from such companies that have been tailored to you based on your activities and inferred preferences.
  • Google Analytics.
In addition to the above, we have implemented on our website and other services certain Google Analytics features that support Display Advertising, including re-targeting. Visitors to our websites may opt out of certain types of Google Analytics tracking, customize the Google Display Network ads by using the Google Ad Preferences Manager and learn more about how Google serves ads by viewing its Customer Ads Help Center. If you do not wish to participate in Google Analytics, you may also download the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Here is a link to Google Analytics Privacy Policy

You can choose to remove or disable cookies via your browser settings at any time

We may also be required to retain this information to comply with any legal and regulatory obligations to resolve disputes, and to enforce any agreements. We generally keep your data for a period of 5 years.

How We keep your information Safe

For example, provided your browser accepts HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) Secure encryption, we seek to protect your payment information against unauthorised access through a secure server.
